"training very seldom at first only taking care of my small kids and barely managing to take livia once for a bike ride and doing some work in the garden getting limited also by the weather and by the coronavirus outbreak with many restrictions confining us at home and at last ordering on-line a mini-bike to first train my arms and then my legs while keeping in the living room with livia with the device on the floor and myself seated on the sofa pedaling"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #182

"a period resuming much physical activities after the rainy winter and biking a bit with my minibike at home during the coronavirus lock-down but then with the good weather taking bike rides only once with my racing bike and then taking livia around not going very fast but still training and also doing quite some works in the garden cutting grass and planting as well as cleaning with the shovel the overgrown paths"

"still under the coronavirus lockdown keeping up the walking with the children with quite some nice weather also doing some work in the garden"

"doing quite some work in the garden of our dutch house putting up a shed where to produce my mosaic tiles and then taking a very long bike ride to pick second hand sandals for livia for the first time in months crossing the river and breaking the coronavirus lock-down and later keeping up working on the shed also sawing down all the branches leaning its way"

"at times in the evenings taking a short but fast bike ride up the dike and then even doing some weight lifting in preparation of all the physical work i will have to do this summer in the alps and also taking slow bike rides with little silvester seating in the cart and beside doing quite some work recovering some old planks from a container and bringing them home to our garden but also making love with myrthe after quite some time"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #186

"still in the netherlands biking with silvester in the trailer going rather slow but then biking alone with my racing bike upstream and the crossing the river lek to bike downstream to cas and petra's forest house in doorn getting quite some good exercise before at last making it to italy taking there quite some walks with the kids pushing the stroller up the asphalt road but also some nearby dirt roads"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #187

"a month spent in italy yet still unable to work on my installation getting quite frustrated about all the slow bureaucracy but managing to take walks uphill pushing my kids in the stroller and exercising quite well and also getting the help of some students to begin rolling heavy stones next to the installation site before talking with them an energetic walk up the pasubio mountain and then resuming my walks uphill pushing the kids"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #188

"in the mountains still doing quite some physical work like cutting down trees to build a fence by the barn and taking walks with my kids awaiting for my building permit until at last getting the permit and moving alone huge rocks from the near forest to prepare the foundation and then doing quite some digging of gravel to fill it up but not doing so much anaerobic work when actually setting up the structure"

"doing quite some work dismantling the scaffolding of my installation and then returning to holland keeping up the physical work building more of the shed for my mosaic time-capsules and also now biking with both kids as well as doing weight lifting quite regularly in the evening"

"a period in the netherlands trying to keep up with all the fit body i got in the summer working at my museum in the alps but then getting a back injury doing push ups and still trying to do some biking despite the pain and many consecutive days of rain and also later doing some exercise biking with the kids and ultimately taking them on hikes training especially pushing the double stroller up ad down the dunes of the national park north of den haag"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #191

"still a period fully taking care of the children leaving no time to do exercises by myself and yet managing to bring all the mosaic boxes up to the attic training quite a bit as well as biking with the kids to the lake in beusichem trying to keep a good speed but also doing quite an intense exercise having to move the six meters long metal bars delivered in front of our house and dragging them under the rain all the way down the road and in the backyard to later again bike with the kids and again managing to drag an addition of forty one bars to the backyard where i also set up a metal cutting and welding station"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #192

"beside biking livia to her little friend tom doing a lot of exercise setting up a whole new shed to try to make less noise when cutting metal and really sweating hard having to put it up all by myself and with the recycled material i got mostly from our neighbours who are renovating the house across the street but also going at night to pick material from a container in front of a shop closing down due to the pandemic and reaching a peak of fatigue having to lift and put the ceiling all by myself"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #193

"a period with quite some physical work spent improving the shed i built to isolate the sound of my metal cutting and also carrying quite some bricks from a house under renovation and using them as pavement mixing the concrete by hand and doing quite some cutting of the wood i was able to recycle from the house also by hand but later feeling content about the shed and just spending more time with the family making love after ages to myrthe and then spending many afternoon taking livia out with the shed to enjoy the snow doing some exercise pulling her up and down the dike but generally feeling rather untrained and incapable of taking my usual walks"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #194

"a period feeling rather nervous doing a lot of work on my computer and in the sheds in the garden building the pieces for my museum but not doing my usual walks and managing to do some exercise at first dragging the kids on the sled during a week of real winter and later with almost a spring weather resuming to bike with them at first being rather slow but then putting up a good tempo and several times making it to the lake in the near village of beusichem never however doing any extraordinary effort"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #195

"a period doing at times some heavy work such as moving all the mosaics i produces outside to the old chicken house and also later transporting several thousands kilos of iron from a crate i got delivered out on the street across our neighborhood carrying many load with a wheelbarrow all the way to the metal workshop i built in our backyard but generally worrying a bit about not really doing some proper training feeling at times my heart suffering from it and trying with the kids to take excursions and walk also in the dunes pushing the stroller with them and walking fast but getting a bad back mostly driving to these places and also attempting some biking with the kids during a short period of sun and warmth only making love with myrthe very occasionally also recording this more aerobic effort"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #196

"worrying a bit about my heart spending a lot of time welding the project museum textures and with too bad weather to do outdoor activities but trying whenever possible to walk fast taking both kids on the stroller after also letting them train quite a bit walking and also going during the evening for very fast walks and training my heart up the steps of the railway bridge to then also take the kids for bike rides and then alone biking with a gas tank in the kids trailer to get it replaced while our car was at the mechanic and rediscovering the pleasure of touring even though any small wind made it too hard to bike with the trailer"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #197

"a month with bad weather hindering many outdoor activities and with some decent weather making it with the kids by bike to the lake in beusichem feeling rather fit and then later also biking with myrthe and the kids to a playground past beusichem in the middle of the countryside and as a present getting some second hand sneakers deciding to go several days in a row to run after ages and choosing to do so on dirt roads next to the river not to compromise my back but in fact getting immediately stiff and later having issues sleeping for a long time likely due to it but at least breathing some good and fresh air after all the fumes of the welding of the project museum textures i so much tried to avoid and later doing quite an intense effort to move all of these textures first to the end of the garden and then to the dutch company that loaded them on the truck to italy finally with the first day of sun biking back with the kids to the lake but this time feeling quite energyless"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #198

"in the mountains working really hard managing to find the time to download the mosaic boxes i brought from the netherlands and later moving all the museum textures to a neighbour's garage to weld them together handling the resulting panels alone also taking some walks with the kids going up hill and doing quite some aerobic training before august arrival also taking a walk with him in the hills in the near of vicenza before getting his help to load the welded panels on the tractor and transport them up to the museum also doing quite some lifting to position them in place"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #199

"working hard to begin with mounting the textures on the project museum in the mountains and often walking up there even with friends and their kids and also taking a small holiday at the seaside unable to even swim once having to take care of the kids but with them and my oldest son renting a rickshaw and biking all the way to the tagliamento river and later back in the mountains with no one helping me with the kids going for a hike with them to a tibetan bridge with august carrying little silvester but also at one point carrying both myself and later with the arrival of myrthe resuming the work with the museum and at times struggling quite a lot up in the air to try to put a texture aligned with the structure"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #200

"working with august welding the textures on the third floor of my mountain and at first having to take all the textures out of it to weld the loose pieces and put them in chronological order also fatiguing quite a lot pulling them with august prior lifting them and several times just walking up to the museum fatiguing on the slope often carrying the food bag or even a heavy tank of gasoline also doing quite a physical effort mounting and dismantling a scaffolding we borrowed purposely to weld the textures at last also working along with august to smooth the terrain around the museum and make a road up for the tractor after our hunter neighbours blocked the access through their fields"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #201

"working hard still in the mountains trying to get rid of all the small trees and bushes growing in the valley where i plan to build the path to the museum and later also doing quite some work in venice bringing old furniture to the attic in the end returning to the netherlands and feeling a bit down with gray weather outside and nothing so physical to do but then picking up the bike again and going for rides with the kids doing quite some exercise"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #202

"back in holland with no longer the hard work to do in italy and just the children to take care of trying to do some physical activities with them and going several times for bike rides with livia in the back and silvester in the front feeling rather strong despite the weight and even going for some big walks together having often to carry silvester in my shoulders but at one time also both of them going down a wild path along the waal river and also with myrthe making love rather regularly despite feeling quite exhausted at the end of the day and recording mentally my heart beats"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #203

"a period with a lot of good weather to begin with taking several bike rides with the kids and even swimming before experiencing the real beginning of the autumn with some bad weather seldom going out but at last making it to provence and there taking walks with either livia or silvester on my shoulder walking up the historical towns there and even the verdon gorge and the lime formations above forcalquier also doing quite some stretching to improve my back situation getting worst with the winter"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #204

"still fatiguing in provence carrying the children on my back along with myrthe and climbing up the ocher mine in roussilion and later also walking fast with silvester and livia on my shoulders in a forest north of dijon before making it back to the netherlands and there beginning to work as a carpenter fatiguing almost daily throwing trash and dismantling big exhibitions for the main dutch museums but also building and lifting pedestals"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #205

"a lot of physical exercise at work lifting heavy metal beams to build a big counter for the waalwijk museum together with tonny and getting quite a back pain from it but managing to keep up the work also exercising quite a lot lifting panels and cutting them on the wall saw and with my kids too building their new bulk bed bringing all the pieces up the to their rooms and training also carrying a closet i found on the street home before going in the haarlem dunes with my kids and pulling one on the stroller while having the other in the backpack doing quite some leg training"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #206

"doing a lot of hard labour at work especially dismantling a big post-colonial exhibition at the stedelijk museum and working as a slave tossing hundreds of almost new heavy panels in the trash container later in my short christmas holiday emptying the attic and fixing it doing quite some work carrying all the plaster boards there to place them around the new window and on the ceiling and back to work using myrthe's electric bike for the first time to go all the way there and back several times doing quite some training especially pedaling on the dike down the stream in the dark and with a freezing temperature"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #207

"heart beats recorded in my last period at work also biking there with myrthe's electric bike but finishing the battery and having to pedal back and also dismantling another heavy exhibit in utrecht before calling it off and just keeping home doing a bit of work setting up plaster boards in the attic and dismantling the metal workshop in the garden but for some time not really doing any physical exercise despite biking the kids to school prior traveling with them to the italian alps and fatiguing trying to search for a place where to build my cathedral there having to carry them even both in my shoulders"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #208

"a month doing quite a lot of exercises pushing the kids on the strollers up the summano mountain with august and then having to walk with them across venice carrying heavy backpacks after selling the apartment there going up and down the many old bridges before returning home and feeling at first a bit frustrated but then starting quite some work in the garden falling a big wild cherry tree all by myself and cutting it to pieces and later also working hard demolishing the bike shed i made with the old bricks found when i replaced the living room pavement"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #209

"working hard on my garden path project to my future laboratory lifting the heavy bricks i have reused demolishing the pavement of the previous metal workshop and also training a lot bringing a cargo of sixty cement bags i got delivered in front of our house having to transport them all the way around and spending some days also keeping up the garden path with however livia at home sick with chickenpox at last giving the project up for the time being doing some weight lifting in the attic and getting quite some back pain from it in the end also feeling not so good in my body traveling by car through germany but right at my friend florian in the black forest taking a very powerful hike up the hills there"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #210

"a quite physical period to begin with in the mountains downloading the iron i brought from the netherlands and later cutting wood with my friends and moving it around before spending some days bringing the students up and down to the project museum after cutting the grass all around it and up the valley using my more practical yet still heavy machine and on my way back to the netherlands taking some powerful walks especially while in stuttgart going up and down the hills there but then back in the netherlands getting pretty much stuck with my sick children and feeling at times frustrated of the situation managing to however spend some time almost every day mixing concrete with a shovel to extend the garden path"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #211

"finishing off the garden path in our dutch house mixing the last concrete bags and then taking more time to be outdoor such as walking the children up and down some dunes near amesfoort and then also biking with myrthe electric bike to her brother's forest cabin almost not feeling any training and even getting quite some pain in my ankles from all the empty pedaling and then traveling with the kids across germany taking quite some hikes with them in various bavarian cities like the hilly ravensburg and later having them walking up the disney like castle in fussen and in our mountain village in italy almost fainting cutting the grass up the valley to the project museum preparing a vegetable garden after many years doing quite some effort there"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #212

"an intense month first waiting for the material to keep on building the project museum and taking walks with the children pushing them in the stroller up the mountain to our friend chris and alessia or even bringing them both in my shoulders making a small round in the novegno mount and then receiving the gratings as well as the metal bars to build the project museum floors downloading and loading them several times at last bringing them with my small tractor to the project museum dealing alone with those thousands of kilos but also feeling good and sporty about it"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #213

"working very hard transporting thousands of kilos of iron up to the project museum loading and downloading it and lifting it in place to construct the two floors inside in the end taking it quite easy and leaving for a holiday n the south of italy with my whole family suffering a great neck pain probably due to all the lifting particularly of the dozen of gratings i had to move from floor to floor and trying to recover the pain doing minor activities such as being in the water with my kids letting them jump up and down the waves but also walk with them and explore many places in the abruzzo"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #214

"being quite in the water with my kids but not really swimming with usually a very agitated sea doing mostly some training holding the kids up the waves and later with august coming to spend some time with us taking him for walks in the maiella with mathijn escorting us there and later returning to the maiella mountains with also the family and taking a smaller hike there and to the roccascalegna fort in the end returning to the alps and resuming my work at the project museum always walking up the steep valley to reach it despite the great heat"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #215

"beside installing the parapets of the project museum carrying the leftover nets i had up to the tractor across the steep field by our barn almost exclusively focusing on the family taking many walks with them in the mountains and often having to carry little silvester climbing up the steep valley of the specchieri lake or up the rione mountain or just to the project museum also exploring how it connects to the path going up the novegno always taking care of my boy while finding my girl livia very powerful and capable of climbing and running with an incredible energy"


 HEARTBEAT: MONTH #216

"a quite lame month mostly biking with my children at times to the lake bathing a last time there and trying to keep up also doing yoga quite regularly in the evening and taking walks with slvester kicking on his scooter and me trying to go at a high tempo but really only doing a proper training during a sickle course and regretting not to be able to work at my fields in the mountains seeing how good i became with it"
