"a period of almost non stop sunshine with a cold wind to begin with but then getting increasingly warmer and summerish to the point that i spent several days with the kids by the river and at a newly discovered beach in a former mining site getting even a sunstroke during a picnic and finding it way too hot avoiding later to go out in the middle of the day yet enjoying the weather especially in our garden where we kept also a lot given the coronavirus pandemic lock-down andthe good weather bringing a lot of people to break the distancing rules particularly by the river"

"very sunny and at times too hot spring spent much outdoor with only a week getting suddenly cold and rainy but then soon again turning sunny and even too dry and almost unbearable to be out in the middle of the day"

"some sunny days to begin with especially while working on my metal workshop in the backyard and despite the cold nights always having quite some heat during the day but then getting a period of rain forcing me and the kids at home before a few days of very cold weather followed by a spring weather with even flowers on the ground yet soon replaced by a harsh week with a lot of snow and the water freezing and people suddenly going out to ice-skate spending myself a lot of time out with the kids going with the sled despite them getting quite cold especially in the morning"

"a month started with freezing temperatures and a proper winter with snow and ice and at last some pleasant days going to skate several times and only within a week reaching almost summer temperatures with the snow melting and keeping in t-shirt for some days before once again the cold sat in but also very sunny days usually quite warm towards noon and just the weather getting cloudier towards the end but still in general without any rain"

"the spring at last coming with a few days to begin with quite promising but then once again some cold days with some rain and often too much wind to appreciate the weather but at last also a very sunny weekend taking the kids on a wild beach along the waal river followed by some gray and crappy weather with in the very end almost summer temperatures taking the kids to the dutch sea across the dunes and feeling almost in a desert having to put sun lotion especially on silvester's white skin and at last taking shelter in a small forest later also biking with the kids wearing shorts but putting sun lotion not to get burnt as in the past"

"an exceptionally cold spring no thinking whether all these pandemic lock-downs have in fact reduced pollution and in turn made the weather colder experiencing once again snowfalls despite the fruit trees being already bloomed and later experiencing a period of sun but still very cold almost never going out without a jacket and with freezing temperatures in the night having to go out early in the morning to weld the project museum textures"

"a cold and rainy spring with very few days of blue sky but still some moments of sun and heat even during the a rainy day nonetheless feeling quite affected by the bad weather especially after welding the textures of my museum and sending them to italy feeling i wanted to spend time with my kids doing excursions but getting stuck at home with rain outside"

"possibly the worst spring in decades in the netherlands with constant rain and only a few hours of sun at last experiencing some nice days just on time to pack the car and the trailer to travel to the italian alps and find there a cooler weather but somehow less humid and in the long run very pleasant especially compared with the heat in the plateau below and always in the afternoon hearing thunders from the mountain above us or in front of us and giving up welding in a neighbour garage so as not to compromise my equipment"

"finding a very good weather in the mountains at times getting cloudy especially in the afternoon but usually never too hot and also later going to the seaside finding a not too hot weather always with some wind and back in the mountains hearing the complaints of my old neighbour that the summer is at least twenty days late and also considering the extreme heat waves in north america and seeing the cool european summer as a compensation of it"

"in the mist of the summer in italy but really only feeling the heat when down the mountains for example picking the scaffolding i needed to set up the textures of the last floor of the museum and beside for that finding a quite cool weather never too hot and with quite some rain and storm particularly in the end after finishing to weld all the textures and not even finding venice too hot while there with august refreshing our student apartment there and also later while in milan"

"a quite cold summer to begin with even in milan where i spent a few days with august before his departure back home to sweden and then back in the mountains experiencing some very nice days turning increasingly too hot until an african heatwave name lucifer got its way through making it quite unbearable to do any work but nonetheless managing later to deal with it back in venice and on my way back to holland finding there a most miserable and gray and cold and rainy weather but the happiness to be reunited with my family"

"a very hot beginning of the autumn here in the netherlands after a rainy and cold summer and almost getting a bit worried about climate change in general with such extreme events asking older people if it was usual at their times to get such phenomena but taking advantage of the weather to go for many walks with the children and also swim several times at the former mining site by the river with the afternoons getting quite hot but never really wearing any sun cream anymore being late in the season"

"still a way too hot autumn especially in the middle of the day but soon experiencing quite some change of weather with at last a lot of rain and wind in our dutch village still venturing out with my kids before making it to a very hot and warm provence with very cold nights but a very clear sky and a strong sun during the day almost feeling like we need sun cream despite the late season"

"a month started in beautiful provence with sun and blue sky despite the late season and then experiencing the cold and humid weather of northern france driving up north at last to be confined in my new work in a small factory not able to experience any day light but during the short breaks with the sun going progressively behind the factory in front with the days shortening up and the winter hour setting in feeling also quite sad for my children so used with me to keep outdoor but at last always finding ways to go a bit out together in the evening and in the weekend with the weather also getting colder but also drier"

"working hard now as a carpenter trying to be out as much as possible especially at the beginning during every break and with a bit of a warm sun being sent to various museums around the netherlands to work such as going to beautiful apeldoorn all coloured by the autumn leaves and several times to amsterdam to work at the stedelijk museum and from there using my lunch time to be out at times finding sun but later with the weather becoming increasingly gray and cold often finding frost on my car window early in the morning and only have some sun and decent weather towards the end of the month with still quite some cold weather and trying to be out with the kids but having to protect them from the cold wind"

"experiencing all possible winter weather with some sunny days spent at work trying to be outside to fetch some sun during the breaks but also some extremely cold days with the kids freezing their hands and then a very beautiful day spent with them in the dunes in haarlem almost feeling like spring and after a gray and cloudy christmas vacation experiencing quite a heat wearing no jacket celebrating the christams eve in the small square of our dutch town"

"a very gray and snowless period of the winter with some picks of cold and just a few sunny weather bringing almost the feeling of spring but other than that many gray days one after the other now stepping back from working full time and mostly keeping in utrecht building an exhibition there and other than that also spending these gray winter days renovating our attic but also making it a point to be outdoor with my kids enjoying at least the total lack of wind especially towards the end"

"a month with the weather really changing suddenly into spring with some sunny and almost spring like days but in general very restless with no real winter coming especially at last driving with my kids down south and finding a way too warm germany and snow in the alps but a too hot day especially in italy wearing my t-shirt and playing with the snow later also experiencing the awful smog in the surrounding of milan and getting most hit by such a weather"

"in italy at first in my native highland experiencing sun but also a bit of a snowfall reminding me of my childhood soon however getting shocked about how climate change turned everything dry and way too hot and sunny with only some occasional cold brought by the northern wind but generally feeling rather hot both in our mountain village and in venice selling our apartment there and even making it to the lido beach at last leaving italy with my kids and just seeing the tremendous air pollution in milan with no wind and no rain finally making it back to the fresh but more gray holland"

"a boring gray weather to begin with soon replaced with several consecutive days of sunny spring weather with the children even bathing outside and me working on the garden quite intensively until quite a bad weather sat in with much rain and even snow and cold and much wind forcing us back home"

"getting quite sunny off and on in the netherlands at last also making it to the beach in noordwijk with the family yet still always experiencing some wind spoiling the weather and even making it too cold but in the end driving south and stopping in the black forest finding quite a nice sunny weather there and so on my arrival in italy but not so much in the mountains with quite some clouds and a low temperature at night"

"not such a warm weather while in italy often having to turn the stove on and then traveling through a very cold austria only to find germany warmer stopping in a stuttgart with a most beautiful weather and a hoard of migrants celebrating by the river later also finding quite a nice weather in the netherlands taking even my children to swim but being in the end secluded at home with them and their mother falling sick for a long time with the weather also turning colder and rainy"

"a quite cold beginning of the summer in holland with some rain and just occasionally some heat mostly in the early afternoon but also hearing some thunders and one day of really heavy rain before leaving with the children across the cold northern part of germany at last reaching a quite warm bavaria even camping outside and enjoying the perfect weather later crossing the alps and getting almost as if in an oven with an extreme heat making me rather concerned about climate change in general also up in our mountain apartment with a more tolerable weather and the extreme heat experienced going down to schio for errands with both the kids turning completely red and sweaty"
