"reaching paris with august experiencing quite cold nights in the tent and finally going to the warmth of provence feeling good and dry but then going back to holland experiencing the heat of central france to at last finding a coldweather getting increasingly very hot especially during a bike ride i took to reach maastricht burning my legs under the sun and having to constantly water the plants in our garden with no rain scheduled in the whole of northern europe"
