"in italy to begin with occasionally picking trash whne going down the mountains with the children to overlook at some bureaucratic manners then returning via germany to the netherlands and there mostly picking trash around town walking with silvester through the old town or picking up livia from school passing by our supermarket where usually teens drop their litter on the sidewalk but also spending a sunny afternoon in zwolle finding some trash there in the too gentrified downtown after leaving our new van to be transformed into a camper in a small village up north"

"still in our dutch village often finding some trash walking to the market or to do grocery later also making it to the house of myrthe's older brother to look after his dog and walking in the outskirts of maastricht where the house is located and in maastricht finding quite some trash before returning to our village and there finding a bit of fliers announcing the new elections and still some packages out of the new american candy shop"

"walking a lot but finding little trash with continuously rain and bad weather keeping people in their homes with only a few days with dry streets enabling me to pick trash in our village especially during the many festivities like saint martin and saint nicholas when people are invited to be tside to celebrate and going to these celebrations with my children but also during a day spent in rotterdam prior to going to italy for the winter holidays"

"getting back to holland after the holidays spent with my family in the mountains finding a very freezing weather and even snow making it almost impossible to find any trash on the sidewalks later with the weather getting warmer making it to several carnivals such as in arnhem and in den bosch finding quite some trash there having however to look after m children from the crowd and the tractors pulling the masquerades also feeling quite ashamed to do it among the parents of their classmates coming along but telling them the artistic purpose of my strange behaviour and in general finding the trash quite much contaminated by all the drunkard behaviour of the local dutch population getting totally wasted as in a brueghel painting"

"picking trash on my way to bring and pick the children to and from school with however quite some rain and bad weather either way keeping people at home and making the little trash too wet to pick later making it for a very long walk to amsterdam from the stadium into the city and then from the city to amstel finding there many blown down paper bins with plenty of trash to pick especially s=with some interesting pages from old art books and even old advertsiments kept by perhaps an elder person who died and saving his or her collection somehow through my more scattered collection later making it to italy picking no trash in the mountains but then with the rain in the mountains making it after many years to my mother's place in vicenza picking trash while walking to the city center with my children"

"still in italy and still exploring urban spaces mostly with the rain in the mountains making it impossible to work at my ark now visiting venice with my family and that of myrthe's oldest brother venturing to pick some trash at least on our way to the venice biennial with rain pouring down on our way back later picking some trash back in our dutch village but mostly during a weekend spent in the totally bombed and brutally rebuilt german city of wuppertal crossing its very degraded environments and often finding very corrupted an old trash no one ever bothered to pick up"

"walking with both myrthe and the children from the very south of dusseldorf all the way to the center crossing many neighborhoods and finally ending up in the japanese quarter picking some asian trash there and then making it back to holland but finding generally a too rainy eather to pick anything especially in our village"

"with the coming of the summer weather picking trash both in our village but also visiting eindhoven especially the arabic part on the opposite side of the city center and later in utrecht finding also a bit of fliers related to the european elections but more about the european football championship"

"picking very little trash while on holiday in italy even after walking quite far on the sea side from our camping to the summer resort of rosolina finding almost nothing but a few fliers spending the rest of the summer up on the mountains working on the ark and walking in the nature lastly traveling back and picking a bit of trash in como and later in chiasso where we stayed at my uncle's place and finally after traveling through germany resuming my trash picking mostly taking the children to school and back home"

"back in the netherlands trying to keep a rather nomadic life with the family bringing them on our free time in forests and natural reserves but also occasionally in cities where myrthe met up with her friends and i was left alone with the children like in rotterdam crossing with them the entire city and picking trash here and there but also in amsterdam walking from the south station to the central station and picking the usual tourist related trash but also fliers of people protesting against the war in gaza and beside that occasionally picking trash crossing our little village with the autumn rain however soon making me one of the few to keep outdoors"
