MANUAL: MONTH #073

"introducing my painting work claiming that i only paint as not a professional artist who wants to sell his or her work and relate it to the paintings of other artists but declaring that i only paint as yet another way to record an aspect of reality also specifying that in the context of all my other works my paintings just add up some exoticism to a setting that is more of a jungle and certainly not as safe and sterile as an art museum"

 MANUAL: MONTH #074

"describing how my artistic ego was liberated by moving out of the pedagogically oppressive italy and starting school in the united states in not time picking up painting and also doing murals in the school but then returning to the oppressive italian environment wanting to attend the art academy and being prohibited to do it seen however ultimately this prohibition as a blessing since i had to find my own ways to make art which in the end are more close to reality than those canonized in institutional environments"

 MANUAL: MONTH #075

"narrating how back in italy as a young man i began to blindly experiment with all sort of chemicals to create my paintings and how from these paintings i retain the making of a scribble which is later followed by a careful coloring of the regions it generating considering how this act rehearses creation in which quickly things are conceived but then it takes a lot of time to consolidate them ultimately also reflecting how glad i am now that all my early works were thrown in the garbage because i could liberate myself from them and pursue a more ecological and organic life-practice"

 MANUAL: MONTH #076

"describing how i gave up chemical and switched to more natural materials painting in a natural setting not so much as an artist but more as a shaman finally understand the danger of pursuing one's own talent in an industrialized context bringing now nature itself as my set of constraints however having to think all my artistic practice upon moving to vancouver where my art became synonymous with my survival as well as with the spontaneous sharing of my learning to become autonomous especially with homeless people finally however leaving the city to move to the swedish countryside to really try out to be self-sufficient but there having no more the luxury to paint but the cabins of the farm and in a most monotonous and traditional way which has come to reflect my more recent paintings"

 MANUAL: MONTH #077

"coming up with the idea that generally speaking my work is very popular meaning not that it want to be famous but it suggests a way to keep down to earth among a proletariat that is no more with all my contemporaries pretty much being all sucked up and used up in getting regimented by the system and in doing that losing a mind which i instead try to regain through my project"

 MANUAL: MONTH #078

"telling how as a design student i was forced to read literature that scorned artists and praised designers as the saviors of society but upon experiencing the catastrophes set forth by industrialization beginning to conceive the importance of more contemplative practices like my paintings that just keep individuals in love with their reality and not constantly in a rampage to steal from it and compete with others"

 MANUAL: MONTH #079

"going further in discussing how generally speaking i find the way our computerized society enables people to manifest their natures and nature in general as highly sectorising trying to break free from the virtual box i have been confined in making my own tangible box back in nature refusing to enter all the circuits in which artists like me are supposed to enter given that they belong to an elite which keeps on perpetrating injustice on the world"

 MANUAL: MONTH #080

"reconsidering the fact that i only paint as part of many oter things i do and while this is bad for my reputation it ensures me to have a biodiverse mind and be constant over time without enforcing one of my talents over the others and without enforcing one single view of reality to people but a very broad perspective which they are unable to read only because massmedia and the culture industry set up their own agenda with their strict formats"

 MANUAL: MONTH #081

"pointing out that the too bright paintings i do in a hundred can only be understood only against the very context in which i create them which the dull weather of a nordic and industrial country resembling more and more a spaceship suspended in the empty darkness of the universe and claiming how my art is all about trying to go the other way back to a solar nature escaping all the hallucinating remedies my contemporaries make use of to tollerate their gray existences"

 MANUAL: MONTH #082

"stressing once again the fact that i do not paint as part of a tradition but that my main role is that of a conceptual artist who is still in the middle of a performance and this performance implies me having to conduct a simple life and not that of an artist therefore also painting as i would actually paint without having to play a more sophisticated role and detach myself from my reality to try to reach the bubble of the art world i will probably reach only after i finish my project and i am old and i can claim to have pushed for a concept no other artists have ever dared to push for especially because it entails becoming a no one"

 MANUAL: MONTH #083

"discussing why in principle i do not want to commit to a life as an artist in his studio doing his paintings or another kind of art explaining that i am in the first place committed to life and if i was locked up in atelier to make work to become famous i would come to miss any possible interaction with nature that makes my project so valuable and could make the arts of others very much valuable and enriching for local environments"

 MANUAL: MONTH #084

"comparing my artistic operation to that of a primitive man in his cave awaiting for some dark times to go by and cultivating culture as a way to one day be able to come out to the light and resume life after the catastrophe that the power structure governments around the world have generated will take its course seeing this as a necessary transition and hoping to also inspire others to do the same for their own sake and that of humanity at large"

 MANUAL: MONTH #085

"introducing my fable writing and like in my paintings affirming that i do them with not so much a public in mind nonetheless finding quite a lot of genius in them with all the animal avatars i am using going into a series of metamorphosis beyond any narrative convention yet with always some element of geniality i have been able to train with much perseverance in this practice of automatic writing"

 MANUAL: MONTH #086

"mentioning the situation in our mountain village where the wilderness has completely taken over the old and millennial mountain civilization claiming that only by reestablishing a numerous community of people fully engaged with the land and their natures it is possible to reclaim a territory suggesting that in this respect communities ought to break the link with the central governance paralyzing any of their initiative"

 MANUAL: MONTH #087

"putting forward the very simple concept that it is not human exploitation of the environment that i repel but the automated exploitation of the environment which on one hand exclude humans from it turning them derailed and incapable to maintain their consciousness and on the other it may in fact alter the very natural evolution for the worst also in the end saying that it is not the human autocrat i am condemning but any form of autocracy in this respect also in my fables making the very liberated animals into autocrats that also face a downfall"

 MANUAL: MONTH #088

"listing out the many times i was told to check out this or that new cool thing doing something similar to my project but always conceiving much smoke in it and never seen any of these new trends surviving reflecting now on how important is to maintain a focus and build a powerful consciousness not to show off back in the system but to stand as a critical monolith against it also differentiating from the narrow focus society want from us and the focus i propose that requires many skills and a more holistic vision on life"

 MANUAL: MONTH #089

"speculating on the idea that if the digital age quantified all organic and inorganic entiries the nexrt age will be the age of gran manipulation which in m opinion will turn creatures completely unable to be autonomous but always in need of the industry to support them thinking now of my project as a very human codification seeking to overcome such a great mess to come"

 MANUAL: MONTH #090

"thinking out loud whether i am or not a noah so much do i care to tell a fable on the broadest variety of animals as possible coming to the conclusion that nature as such is kept under captivity and i with my fables bring each animal character through a journey culminating in a state of peace which is also what i wish for myself and my fellow humans after my ancestors and their highland has been completely devastated by modern technology"

 MANUAL: MONTH #091

"returning to the fact that i am probably the most nature engaged person in the dutch village where i happen to live but i am consider the most foreigner of all while in fact i see the local as very much foreigners of the natural environment they claim as theirs thinking in this respect that the only solution to the great crisis ahead is a non-authoritarian kind of communism without any of the borders creating so many injustices both among humans but by now especially to the environment"

 MANUAL: MONTH #092

"describing how life over the years became on one hand more and more miserable but in reality more poetic and with a certain warmth that i think i have been able to perpetrate to my children thanks to my very creative practice reflecting that one day also the creative evening work i do will also show come back again towards the end of my project as an ultimate and dramatic sunset to culminate my life long creativity"

 MANUAL: MONTH #093

"reflecting once again on how hit i was by local hunters hindering me to deposit my life-project back in the alps but considering them as middle-class exploiters who have lost all their sensibility in connecting with a nature they consider theirs while in fact they are mostly part of a mainstream culture dictated by the faraway palaces of power and inviting the new generation to try to recover this sensibility and from there build their local cults defying any institutional dogma"

 MANUAL: MONTH #094

"departing once again from my father thinking how we both love nature so extremely much and are bot so sensible about the destruction that modern civilization has brought with it but here departing from my father in thinking that the ultimate solution lays in down-scaling and returning to the towns and get rid of all authorities because authorities as history has shown has tendency to centralize and bring people to larger and naturally unsustainable large centers"

 MANUAL: MONTH #095

"going now in details explaining how my childhood was a childhood of blood and violence from the very moment i got baptized but later after i was forced to move to a city down the mountains things became more quieter until i moved to nordic countries and experience the passive aggression of these more civilized people i actually fear far more than those who can just directly express him or herself with me also seeing how nationalistic they are becoming and reflecting instead from a more aristotelean point of view how the manifestation of a certain degree of rage which is by now banned can in fact diminish the sense of superiority of others especially of potential new gangsters or aristocrats"

 MANUAL: MONTH #096

"concluding that the underlying narrative of my project is based on a fable i am not actually telling and that is that of a monster oppressing humanity and the environment with this monster being the modern state which by now humans are endowing with an intelligence of its own not withstanding the destruction it caused after their forefathers and mothers endow it with a body of its own seeing my practice very effective in that i perform rituals that enables me to keep the monster out of my existence and cultivate my nature"

 MANUAL: MONTH #097

"introducing my recording of thoughts project describing how in the alps it gets wilder and wilder as in any other more dramatic type of natural environments while in the dull nature where i spend my winter in the netherlands it gets more and more urbanized and it is more and more challenging to record my thoughts by right because of being in the edge between nature and civilization i can get more insights"

 MANUAL: MONTH #098

"describing how i used to record my thoughts prior to the beginning of the project as i was coming of age and as also digital technology was coming of age pioneering in my little world many different ways to manifest the self a decade before they became popular but not using them as they are now used to aggrandize myself but to capture the poetry of life and ultimately as a poet show my love not fora woman but for the woman of our mother nature so much suffering from all the competitive use of technology with me instead using technology to pretty much decry this"

 MANUAL: MONTH #099

"comparing my record of thoughts with the thoughts people put on social media saying that in the first place the setting is different given that i record while walking in nature and not siting somewhere indoor so in that respect i am free bird especially because i have no career to tend to and no reputation to lose but most importantly making it clear that my recording of thoughts is not about recording what comes to my head which is different from just uploading one of two sentences which may in fact not reflect the stream of thinking of an individual"

 MANUAL: MONTH #100

"getting once more back to the life changing trauma i experienced after the forest i so much loved and so much dedicated myself to in sweden was cut down and how i began to relate to nation-states as also a way to handle people cutting down their identity and replanting most boring and homologated and controllable pine trees instead"

 MANUAL: MONTH #101

"being more clear about my ideological position defining my self a human-centric ecologist blaming not humans byut the power structure subjugating it as the main source of disasters the world is facing also adding how this position of mine as completely excluded me from being part of any type of discussion which is by now all academic and very much part of the establishment"

 MANUAL: MONTH #102

"departing from eitenne de la boite to think how with my project i am not the slave of the system but i am the slave of mother nature but i also have a great pity for children who are obliged to be part of the system and in this respect i follow them while also providing them a counter education in nature in the hope they can avoid to fall in the trap of having to waste their life in an office contributing to a system which is in fact not only detrimental to them but also to the natural world overall"

 MANUAL: MONTH #103

"describing how i don't cultivate any hater for all of those people whose aim is to just grow bigger but declaring that i just feel utterly sad and that i see a purpose in being part of an exclusive society in which like a bump i depict not what it looks like but the rot it has within and not to discredit it but to encourage the less privileged one not to go for it but to rather live according to their nature"

 MANUAL: MONTH #104

"considering that overall it is better to be frank and reveal one's own idea without too much repression since all the censorship that is now emerging partially because of people's access to digital technologies of communication will only result in people getting increasingly frustrated and in the end exploding into something that could in fact lead to new genocides discussing how in my use of media within a more intimate and ecological framework is a good and moderate alternative"

 MANUAL: MONTH #105

 MANUAL: MONTH #106

"reflecting on how both the medieval town in the netherlands as well as the increasing wilderness of the alps provide me both with the perfect scenario to rethink society prior to the industrialization that has so much upset it with examples of both a paleolithic and a neolithic existence to which to aim for especially in my thinking despite the presence of the nation-state paralyzing the wilderness and just turning the village into a city"

 MANUAL: MONTH #107

"going back to discuss how instinctual is my opposition to authority but how this instinct is actually basic for everyone to ensure that society doesn't grow pyramidal as it is happening and also claiming that in fact the authority i put on myself enables me to be more effective in hurting people who attempt to be authoritarian over others"

 MANUAL: MONTH #108

"making it a point that my recording of thoughts is nothing sophisticated but it is in fact my way of surviving a sort of centralized type of sophistication in which humans are deprived of their minds and their only task becomes that of compiling predetermined bricks of power pyramids opposing to this process my own human cultivation with the shooting of my thoughts acting as some kind of shield"
