PAINTINGS: MONTH #217

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #218

"painting executed in the attic now mostly alone during the day with silvester and often with livia home from school with chickenpox and reintroducing after a long time the black surface repainting it white but not really making a marked contrast with the nearby gray and beside that spending quite some time cleaning the painting on my laptop traveling with it across europe to italy and back"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #219

"a bit of a weird painting executed on my way back from italy with the attic mostly used for lasering the tags of the ark nonetheless with both the children quite sick finding some time to execute the painting concentrating several layers on the top right with the orange and the silver appearing and disappearing"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #220

"still making a bit of an effort to paint with always the kids to look after but letting them draw in the attic while in several occasions i managed to keep up the lines of the previous painting and make this composition with now a central yellow circle and all the other colours around it and the pink and the gray repeating themselves going under the other colours with the gray at the very bottom"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #221

"a last painting executed in the attic of our dutch house prior going the whole summer to italy and at first making it rather banal but then working out the hugging surfaces around the almost central yellow sphere making it thus more interesting"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #222

"resuming to paint upon returning from the summer spent in italy mounting the floor in the ark and executing the painting now distorting the central circle and making it way too pale working however a good balance between the other colours"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #225

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #226

"giving it quite some time to execute this painting always with little silvester on my side giving him also to paint some wood in the meantime and creating a quite interesting construction with the yellow shape in front and then the pink stripe arching behind it and the green and orange almost making a whole circle at the very back thus managing more dimensions"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #227

"feeling quite satisfied about this painting making a slight change with the yellow sphere placing it now in the front of two other layers but still managing somehow to wrap it around with encircling shapes and mostly worrying about not balancing well the areas of the different colours creating smaller intersections that barely shows up in the final result"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #228

"executing a last painting right before leaving for italy with our dutch house getting most cold but also feeling more relaxed having finished to print half of the ark tags to bring to italy and keeping the noisy machine have concentrating more on my creative work and with this painting decentralizing and sort cutting out the yellow dot not so much worrying about dedicating a blanced surface among the other colours with the blue getting more in the background"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #229

"recovering my painting upon returning from the winter holiday spent in the alps and making a rather subtle with the green and red shapes turned into an arch by a bridge like shape of orange and just not so much worrying about proportions keeping the yellow circle cut in half and the pink coming up as a tongue "

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #230

"rather quickly executing this painting now with myrthe at home from work after she got burn out having more time to look after my project but then nonetheless spending a lot of time editing the painting digitally trying to properly fill up all the narrow corners resulting from it as well as making smooth round shapes always using my free hand"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #231

"executing this painting prior the arrival of my oldest son from sweden leaving him the attic and managing pretty well to continue the previous painting onto this one however having to create more space for the pink surface which would have otherwise resulted too small ending in a sort of focal point opening up the shapes for all the other colors"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #232

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #233

"executing this painting right before laving for the spring vacation to italy and this time just keeping the six primary colours excluding the gray and also not really making any fully round shape but just giving a more fluent dynamic with a good balance between sharp and round lines"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #234

"making it back from the spring "holidays spent in the mountains and this time executing a painting without really taking care of the proportions between the various coloured surfaces but making the painting as if really part of a much bigger painting with also only two layers of colours making it a bit more transparent

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #235

"managing to paint with the last batch of ark tags still to be printed and right before traveling to sardinia with august taking my time there to edit the painting despite using a different and more travel suited laptop making rather long and diagonal shapes not any more caring much about the inner proportions but rather those in relation to the preceding and following paintings"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #236

"making one more painting before beginning my trip down south to italy with my youngest son silvester and my oldest august painting with the latter sleeping up in the attic and often working there on his computer managing to come up with these shapes trying to ponder more the colour surfaces with the yellow and green reappearing in the background"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #237

"back to the netherlands with still very much heat outside making it unpleasent to keep in the attic during the day either way with the children home from school making this painting without so much bothering about giving the equal space to all the various colours but managing to create some nice overlapping in a shape going down from the top left to the bottom right with only the red surface sticking up like a tongue to oppose it"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #238

"with the weather getting cooler being able to spend more time in the attic and also dedicate myself to my more artistic work executing in the end this painting with almost a red tongue emerging from the bottom right and a green dot on it as a continuation of the green surface at the bottom left"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #239

"with both my children attending school being able to execute this painting and take my timr to also digitally clean it up maintaining the big red tongue of the previous painting this time making it more central and more interesting by having the blue surface getting over it and making hat part orange"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #240

"recovering a centrality of the painting with however a push going from the bottom left to the top right elaborating more on the intersections with all the other shapes appearing and disappearing in one another"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #241

"with much bad weather outside having more time to spend in my attic and painting as a break from writing and editing my project on my laptop creating this shape with at least four appearing dimensions and a pleasant combination of colours"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #243

"making it back from our winter holiday in the mountains and creating this quite different painting with a more dynamic composition and contorted shapes now adhering more and more to a palette of twelve colours with a dark and a light version of primary and secondary"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #244

"converging the shapes of the various colours to one point but then having a second thought about such a centralization and breaking by having the blue shape dripping down to the rest as in the older paintings with only the pink shape keeping unaffected above the rest so as to give a sense of dimension"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #245

"following up the previous painting with a simple yet compelling painting managing to create an interesting overlapping of shapes while also dedicating enough space for each of the six colors i by now adopt"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #246

"executing this painting prior going to italy for the spring holidays and creating many strong intersections but in the end breaking the main one positioning the circular shape right on it and then breaking the circular shape continuing a leaf like shape over it"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #247

"taking my time to execute this painting making back to the netherlands after the spring holiday in italy working at my ark now slincing the circular shape in two moons trying to keep a balance with all the colours especially a bigger orange surface to compensate the small orange moon"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #248

"painting a big and rather central yellow circle like a big sun but then masking it with a red shape generally making with all the other shapes a diagonal movement going upward yet still continuing the shapes of the previous painting"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #249

"making a last painting before going to italy for the summer holiday and keeping up the previous compositions again with the big yellow sun a bit hidden by another shape and working quite consistently also while in italy to clean up the whole composition in my computer"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #250

"back from our summer holiday in the alps after much work there oiling the ark and plastering our barn resuming painting despite the hot weather making the attic way too warm but managing some interesting shape with a red diagonal cutting superimposed on a large yellow shape but only in the middle section and then playing with the other surfaces appearing and disappearing in different parts of the painting"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #251

"creating some sharp and interesting composition mimicking the former ones but this time have a less centralize yellow circle with a red strip almost coming diagonally through the painting but disappearing the blue base and with the green and pink emerging in the end just out of the previous painting to be recovered in the following one"

 PAINTINGS: MONTH #252

"keeping the yellow circle intact with only sections of the pink and the purple surfaces transiting through it and still having some dark green and the light blue as the background with the orange cascading through it but not managing to pass the yellow disc"
