"a month keeping quite a lot outdoor running out of metal to weld my textures and dedicating more time taking my kids for walk in nature driving to different natural reserve but always getting in a bit of traffic also experiencing some traffic in the our small city and mostly otherwise breathing good air but when making my mosaics breathing a bit of dust even if i am wearing the mask and later receiving at last my shipment of metal from china and beginning to weld it together feeling the need to put more ventilation in the shed and also find replacements for the filters of my protective mask"
"a month having to weld twice a day in the metal workshop in the backyard and making a big effort to remove all the fumes i make so as not to inhale them wearing at all times a mask with the proper filters but not really feeling protected and also installing the ventilator in a hole in the wall buying even tubes to make the aspiration more efficient always with the issue however of back air making the welds too porous and beside that also keeping up with grouting the mosaics trying also to protect myself and during the day taking walks with the kids and trying to breath in as much air as possible and also trying to drink milk as my remedy to my itchy throat after the welding"
"a month welding intensively to finish at last the textures of my museum and struggling a lot to protect myself fully from the fumes even adding an extra filter inside the mask and against my nose but at last opting to buy a second hand welding helmet with a ventilator and using that throughout my morning and evening welding section still getting a but of throat pain and with my neighbour complaining also about the fume aspirator having at last to put it outside making it far less effective and at last buying a long tube to also keep the mask ventilator outside especially after finding the filters completely saturated and being unable to order new ones in the netherlands ultimately with this set up finishing the work and spending more time now taking walks and even running to fill my lungs with fresh air but also experiencing some traffic in town going to the industrial area to ship the textures and traveling to a land art foundation in delft getting in a lot of traffic despite also going to big cities like utrecht and amsterdam finding them like ghost town due to the lock-down following the pandemic"
"a first period in the netherlands no longer welding and only doing some mosaics protecting myself fairly okay from the cement and also talking rather long walks going even from delft all the way into rotterdam and breathing some pollution making it later fairly okay to italy without much pollution and the roads empty due to the pandemic still hitting europe at last making it to the wild mountains and there using the trimmer to cut grass breathing some gases and later welding the project museum textures in larger panels in a neighbour garage doing pretty good with my new helmet but at last getting a cold with all the air constantly flowing down my head"
"keeping up welding the project museum textures together with nets holding them up and welding but inhaling less fumes now with august cutting them by hand and only using the trimmer to try to fix the door and at times to better connect some textures together and right in the middle of the month taking a long break with no one helping me with the kids and going with them to my mother's seaside place breathing them the fresh sea breeze and at last returning to the mountains and resuming the building of the project museum with the generator inside it and the exhaustion having more and more troubles to make it out the more august and i kept building the second floor and feeling a bit intoxicated from them"

"a month rebelling against working in the dusty and unhealthy carpentry at first building some fancy tables for the rijks museum getting quite congested with the dust also made by my colleagues coming to help me towards the end at later mostly working in a convent in utrecht setting up and exhibition there and not really being exposed to any bad air to then go back to do more tables and closets for the company with more dust and some hardcore bad air some screws in the epoxy coated pavement of the former building at last quitting the job and just spend nice days in the open with my children breathing the fresh air of our village"

"breathing an okay air in the mountains but then going to venice enjoying our apartment there for the last time and often taking the ferry to go with the children around the city trying to be in the back to avoid wearing the mandatory mask to curb the pandemic but breathing quite a lot of exhaustion from the old ferry and also traveling with the kids back to the netherlands finding a most awful pollution in milan with months of no rain and a yellow sky in the end crossing the alps and finding a much cleaner air but still quite some traffic even in our village especially when going around the industrial part of it to look for a less polluting car"

"quite a month with at first increasing pollution perceived in our dutch town with far more traffic than i can remember especially crossing the railroad over the industrial area where i have been trying to get material to keep up with the building of the pathway in our garden and here also mixing the concrete by hand and trying not to get myself to much exposed by it and even in the free days breathing some not so nice air like at the habour getting some sweds to meet up with the boats there making quite a pollution and then cutting metal to prepare myself to drive to italy finding quite some clean air stopping in the black forest but then having to go though the milan area feeling as if in a nightmare of traffic and pollution and bad infrastructure almost as if in india at last reaching the mountains and breathing quite some good airr there despite all the cutting of grass but using a good gasoline for it yet not so good when cutting trees for my friends francesco and my new artist friend nero using the chainsaw later however breathing good air just showing the project museum to students and traveling back to the netherlands directly via the tyrol"
"a month spent fully in the nethelrands with some level of pollution experienced the few times i visited cities like scheveningen but in general keeping rather at home with my kids and also their mother being sick and there off an on mixing quite some many bags of concrete to finish the long garden pathway i made using old bricks and protecting myself from the thin cement but at times getting it on my working clothes also later catting the metal pieces from the previous sheds but other than that especially with a rainy weather coming not really getting exposed pollution beside for a few times activating the laser machine in the attic to produce the project museum tags and forgetting to turn on the aspirator getting the room full of a sour smell"
"quite some car traffic experienced still while in our dutch village especially when crossing into the more industrial area and then also traveling with the kids to italy at time stopping in very jammed petrol stations and meeting off and on some traffic particularly crossing the brenner pass and once in our mountain village breathing all the quite clean air there and only once using old petrol to cut wood with my chainsaw soon switching to a good an expensive petrol making far less fumes and using also my trimmer to open up the path to the project museum later also beginning to weld the first floor there and using a mask without aspirator getting quite intoxicated soon after using the full mask with aspirator making me breath almost entirely pure air if not for the fumes of the generator which i have anyway turned towards the outside"
"struggling to get some clean air while working inside the project museum with the generator making quite some fumes unable to extend the exhaustion and later taking an holiday in abruzzo with the family enjoying the fresh breeze of the seaside confronting only some traffic in more touristic beaches and when driving to rome to pick august at the airport getting stuck in quite some traffic driving through the city to visit its ancient ruins and back in the alps resuming my work at the project museum this time repainting the facade and the upper floor with linseed oil getting a bit overwhelmed by the smell and also trying to cover my face as much as possible cutting the gratings that did not feet in the floors but still generating quite a smoke"

"breathing some dust carrying hundreds of heavy cement bricks from the beginning of our block to the back of our garden but generally feeling not so disturbed about the mortar i regularly mixed to lay these brick up until they got right at the face level and there smelling a bit of the mortar but generally having to protect myself more thoroughly when cutting bricks to fit them in smaller gaps and there making quite a thin dust i always tried to also wash away especially from my camera pouch and making it much worst in the end with a soar throat and quite a flu i got from little silvester and otherwise taking nice and refreshing walks with him and experiencing some car traffic especially during a one day spent in tilburg with the family to attend mathijn concert"
"still working quite hard on our new garage breathing more of the mortar going up with the bricks and making the top edges in the end also plastering the outside and later the inside walls covering myself up with a proper mask but still getting to smell the additives in the cement also getting exposed to the traffic of our village walking the main road from livia's school to center and beside that taking several refreshing walks like in the amersfoort forest with the little family and in the end alone with silvester both on the east and on the west of the dike only once going with him to amsterdam to look for some second hand books and getting exposed to the traffic there"
"finishing off building the garage in the back of our dutch house and setting out for a journey across france finding not so much traffic on the way but with the kids walking in the suburbs of french cities and especially metz encountering a most awful traffic with also no wind to blow it away and later in italy staying in our small mountain apartment pretty much always breathing a good and clean air with our chimney working properly beside for at times making some smoke cooking or breathing the smoke of the neighbours like of old gianna gasoline based heating or of old andrea trying to heat up his house"

"making it back from the open french landscapes in a most congested and overpopulate netherlands experiencing quite some traffic every time we made it to the outskirts of our village and later traveling smoothly to our small farm in the italian alps and there welding a shed with scrap metal using the mask with the respirator but still inhaling some fumes possibly because i did not push the mask close enough to my face and also experiencing quite some traffic meeting my old friend francesco in vicenza and while in schio with the family eating a pizza in an immigrant neighborhood but beside that breathing the fresh mountain air especially after much rain not so bothered about at times using the trimmer to cut grass"

"traveling with my sons through europe experiencing some traffic especially in germany intensified by the heat and many trucks but then having a good time at florian's place and also in switzerland breathing fresh air before making it to the overheated flat land of northern italy with a lot of traffic in the little bergamo airport and then keeping in the mountains with the clean air there welding a fence for our new parking lot behind our barn and also finishing it off with a concrete ramp always protecting my mouth and nose at the project museum also beginning to polish the inner pixels prior to positioning the tags with glue getting a throat pain but despite that taking nice and refreshing walks avoiding the heat and keeping with the family high up"

"wrapping up with my work in the mountains using the chainsaw to cut in pieces the trees nero never came to pick up and later spending days with my children at the project museum finishing to oil the tags i glued with a constant breeze removing most of the smell finally traveling back up north stopping with my children up on the fern pass for a few wonderful days with a most clean and pure air also not really finding so much traffic traveling through the never ending germany and back home spending time with my old friend davide coming for a visit trying to be as much as possible in the nature canoeing and biking and generally breathing good air but on the last day going to the polluted and crowded tilburg before taking him to the airport and towards the end of the month going to camp in a swampy and full of mosquitoes place on the german boarder only finding some traffic on the way back trying to visit the beautiful but crowded natural reserve north of rheden"
