Starting January 1st 2004 and ending January 1st 2040, I will use 36 different media to continuously document this period of time [1]. I will use 6 media to document myself [2], 6 to document the surrounding [3] and 6 to document the weather [4]. Moreover I will use 6 media to document the documentation [5], 6 media to contextualize it [6] and 6 to share it [7].

Each month I will generate 36 digital files with the material gathered for each of the 36 media. As there are 432 months in the 36 years duration of the project, I will ultimately generate 15.552 month-files. By 2040 each month-file will be encrypted in a 100 by 100 millimeters pixel of a 7,2 by 7,2 by 7,2 meters life-preserving cube [8].

[1] To view a month-file select:

[2] To document myself I will: record my activities photographing every object my right hand uses, write my dreams, recompose the songs I hear, track my emotions, retrace my walks and record my heart-beats.

[3] To document the surrounding I will: photograph my new friends, scan side-walk trash, annotate headline casualties, film public spaces where I seat, draw my ideas and record my thoughts.

[4] To document the weather I will: tag it using RGB values, paint how it affects me, annotate the air quality, recreate the shapes of clouds, improvise supernatural fables and record the wind intensities.

[5] To document the documentation I will: write an account for each month-file, annotate the thoughts I get documenting, write monthly essays on it, make short-documentaries showing the making, photograph the tools I have used and write an in-depth description for each media.

[6] To contextualize it I will: keep a journal, make photo-albums of my acquaintances, illustrate my family history, make a monthly lecture, take snapshots of my surrounding and create a memory palace where to host the documentation.

[7] To share it I will: create a physical archive, prepare a set of editions, develop a website, tag each month file, encode a binary pattern in the final cube and exhibit.
