"roaming around our dutch town with my kids photographing mostly when venturing a little out like along the river or taking them for excursions with the nice weather especially during a day spent walking down the noordwijk beach but later also taking a long bike ride up the river to substitute my welder gas bottle and stopping in different places to photograph mostly animals like horses and sheep but also storks and even camels finding the more special occasions when following my intuition and exploring new territories"

"a period still spent working as a carpenter not going out that much but in the weekends with my family and exploring a bit of the surrounding nature but also cities like den haag during the pandemic yet still crowded with folk not so cautious to wear a mask and later breaking my camera but being able to buy a new one with a bigger zoom yet still compact but with also the feature of flipping the screen making it more suitable for street photography not really showing that i am photographing to other people"

"in the netherlands taking rather easy only a few times venturing out of our village with the family going to a nice desert in amersfoort photographing pretty much the dutch middle class and later the coming of the winter season with a bit of its traditions and saints and making only once to amsterdam before going with the children south across france photographing a bit in metz yet always holding livia with one hand and pushing silvester on the stroller giving me quite some handicap but nonetheless being very attentive of the urban environment and what stimulates me"

"still traveling with my children this time through the tourist chaos of strasbourg taking some photographs there before reachin the alsp and taking a few nice photos of the nature but also some photos in the more gray and not so pretty places of mestre and vicenza before slowly returning with the whole family up north via germany taking some photos in small and very idyllic german town and then back in the netherlands photographing at times the nature there including some wild beasts and then some urban life in utrecht"

"taking some interesting photos on the mountains to then cross them on our way back to the netherlands taking some photos in austria of the many trucks there and in a cute german valley where we camped and then in the pretty limburg again camping there with the family and back in germany taking quite some photos in dusseldorf finding quite some interesting subjects but either way having to keep an eye also on the children and then back in the netherlands also taking a few photos like of the terrible show off of old and polluting vintage cars over our dike"

"a warm summer month still in sardinia traveling with august depicting a bit of life there with its beautiful nature and its luxury tourism but also some hippie-style living and back in holland beginning a journey with my two sons through germany photographing off an on what captured my attention also in italy eventually making it up the mountains doing a bit of photographing there before mostly doing the rest of the photographs at the garda lake still with little silvester walking extensively and feeling most shocked about the luxury properties right at the coast"

"still with silvester roaming the southern and most western coast of the garda lake with all its absurdities like german rich folk on their speedboats or rich russian women with their kids later make it back to the humble mountains taking a few pictures in the little occasions i had to explore around taking breaks from the gluing of the tags inside the ark and then traveling alone with the kids back home stopping in the beautiful austrian mountains taking a few pictures there and then in the far uglier german landscape stopping at a lake in the near of cologne also later taking pictures while trying to readjust in the netheralnds hiking in the nature with my friend davide and later with my kids"

"trying to make it out at least once a day despite a very terrible weather and managing to take some shots before getting my camera soaked in the water and unable to use it having to by a second hand one restoring my street-photographing practice particularly while in italy with almost a spring like weather there despite the winter has not yet started but then back in holland experiencing a sudden drop in temperature taking some photos of the frozen landscaped despite the metal case of my camera being too cold turning my fingers numbed"

"taking a few photos exploring the other side of the river with my children and later also making it to the sea with them and to utrecht photographing both some nature but also a pro palestine event and later with quite some bad weather taking some photos in gorinchem and at last with some very good weather going in the cliche tulip fields in noordwijk photographing the amazing colours and also taking an extensive walk on the dunes and photographing some details attracting my attention finally making it to a farm and depicting there the caged animals"

"photographing in den haag crossing the city after buying a second hand motor to suck the fumes from my welding workshop and later making it to italy photographing in venice the usual scenes but also the soldiers defending the israeli pavilion and in the mountains photographing once more my shepherd friends but now from the distance after they bought a very aggressive dog against the wolves later taking pictures in my mother's city with still more militarize preparing for an anniversary but almost showing how quickly militarized the whole nation is turning and on my way back through the cute but too posch vipiteno photographing some scenes prior to going with the children and myrthe to celebrate her fortieth birthday in wuppertal feeling still quite shocked about how totally leveled to the ground german cities were during the war but mostly in the end photographing animals at the zoo in a non-bombed are of the once beautiful valley"

"getting more interesting photos than usual properly doing some street photography in rotterdam crossing the city with my children and then crossing breda and finally also with my children crossing amsterdam from the south to the center going from station to station and managing to get a grasp of the rather decadent life in the big dutch cities as somewhat a model of civilization for the rest of a planet that has by now put in question civilization as a whole"

"keeping up my walks with the children also taking my baker friend and his kids along for a walk on the beach south of leiden taking a few shots there without disrupting the walk and also walking during a beautiful sunny day with the family on the other side of the river by the hill east of rhene and photographing some river life there and also photographing while in utrecht taking also a very long walk alone from the north to the south with the weather being quite bad and with the family on a nice sunny day going from the east to the west of the city in the more hipster part of town taking a few photos with anyway silvester to carry on my shoulders and making it also to the more congested leiden taking just a few photos due to the rain and my kids to look after finally making it to several forests once again also with my baker friend and taking there a few shots with the weather being again quite unpredictable and often silvester on the heavy backpack on my shoulders"
