"despite the rainy weather managing to be outdoors quite a lot goign with my family to the veluwe and later with my children to the hectic carnival in den bosch and with the arrival of auust from sweden crossing amsterdam from the stadium to the central station to pick him up filming public places there to then mostly take walk in nature with him and also my children being free from school making it also to the sea and only once to utrecht and another time to rotterdam and beside that mostly keeping in our village especially with the weather getting nicer later taking long walks with my brazilian friend marion and his family but of course trying not to be be quite subtle with my filming not to disrupt our getting together after almost thirty years apart"

"exploring less public places now being having started to work more for the local bakery and also with quite some bad weather recurrently hitting the netherland but beside that managing to bring the children for a small walk in the fog on the other side of the river filming some beautiful scenes of ameringen and then also going on a beautiful but cold day to the beach in nordwijk and with their mother also taking a nice walk down the river with really the spring coming out of the ground later also going with the children across utrecht to their oldest cousin's birthday filming the increasingly gentrified city and then also filming in the ugly and semi-industrial town of tiel and with some holidays bringing the children in the nature up the river on the forested hills east of rhenen in the end going briefly to gorinchem on a rainy saturday lastly filming quite much in and around our village especially with silvester refusing to go to school and myself taking him for walks instead as we used to"

"a quite active period despite the work at the bakery and the recurrent bad weather filming in our village but also venturing on a sunny but windy weekend day to the tulip field in noordwijk finding some beautiful ones in the north from where we also walked to the sea across the beautiful dunes and taking alone a big walk from amsterdam stadium into the city center and then from there back out to amstel where i attended a small talk of artists from around the world later with the family also visiting ameliesweerd and trying to have some nice time with the children bringing them for the first time to sleep at their grandfather in breda but finding a most rainy weather and just taking a little walk in gorinchem on our way there also venturing to limburg on another weekend to fetch an engine there for the fume aspirator i got for welding visiting a little forest and with myrthe and the children also checking out a decadent zoo on the other side of the border also going to den haag to get a different second hand engine filming the very gentrified city despite the heavy weight of the engine in my backpack finally traveling with the family to italy and filming in the beautiful sella valley below my native highland and around our mountain village doing grocery in schio and torrebelvicino but also during a day taking myrthe's oldest brother and his family to venice filming the usual places of my usual walks through the old city avoiding the mass of tourists"

"still in italy now taking some time off from working at the ark and just going with the family to venice to look at the biennial there rediscovering all the places in the city getting quite overwhelmed once again by the amount of tourists and then also filming up in the mountains before taking the children through vicenza and later to meet my aunt in padua while their mother had to be on-line for meetings and enjoying both cities despite the rain later on our way back to holland exploring the cute but too porsh tyrolean town of vipiteno before making it to our dutch village and there getting tired about all the stabilization and focusing issues of my video-recording app switching at last to the one provided by the phone even though it later required me a lot of coding to program a small batch file so as to convert it to the right format and ratio and with this new set up actually getting to film closer up without all the unnecessary magnification and for myrthe's fortieth birthday traveling to wuppertal and there in the beautiful valley filming the ugly rebuilt town and the marvelous nature also crossing dusseldorf from the very south to the center getting to experience the vast spaces germany has to offer in comparison to the netherlands later back in the little country also visiting the biesbosch unable however to explore that much due to the constant rain and mud"

"in holland taking my regular walks out to the arboretum to do tai-chi but also doing a bit of sight seeing meeting myrthe's parents in the bies bosch and with the children off from school exploring the wilderness south of osterwijk as well as osterwijk itself also going to eindhoven to pick p an ergonomic chair to work on filming the city despite having the chair attached to my backpack also walking with the family in grebberberg and later visiting together myrthe's oldest brother in limburg doing some sight seeing on the hills there and stopping in the arabic part of eindhoven on the way back and beside that witht the weather getting more summerish also trying to make it with the kids to the lakes and rivers near us for a swim"

"still in holland taking advantage of the nice summer days to immerse myself in the landscape but also taking a small trip to belgium with my baker friend and his friends exploring a bit of antwerp and then after going with the children to the beautiful natural reserve in rheden making it to the alps and filming both from the novegno but also walking through the lower valleys starting from our village with only a break for a couple of days going to the seaside and then back in the mountains once again exploring the hidden and forgotten valleys at times also going down to the ugly and too hot plateau visiting also the miserable village where my parents moved when i was a child"

"filming also in our crossing of the valleys trying to take forgotten paths from our mountain village and also filming while in schio and on top of the novegno mountain but also around the more beautiful baffelan complex and later filming in my native highland finding it quite disrupted by tourism and with the kids and august daring high up for the first time altogether the challenging pasubio with its breathtaking views later making it over a day to the gorgeous molveno to meet a famous sculptor and see his new work and as our last walk making it back to my native highland to do the castelloni natural labyrinth and finally take a little walk with august around mount enna to in the end travel back home stopping in lake garda and como to meet my uncle after dropping august at the airport and after filming in chiasso filming some view during our climb up the blauen mountain near florian's place in the black forest and back in holland longing to be outdoors making it all the way to houten from utrecht filming an usual wilderness just above the modern and horrific suburbia"

"enjoying a very good weather in the netherlands trying to keep up bringing the children to the nature in their days off school and hiking in the forests to the south but also alone hiking in our village and more to the north towards amersfoort and with the children also making a quite challenging crossing of a forest with three little deserts and the heater flowers no longer blossoming but still quite beautiful with much blue sky and one time walking in utrecht from the zuylen castle in the north to the south and another time walking from the south to the north to organize a presentation i will be making about hunter-gatherers"

"filming to begin with the place i traverse taking my daily rounds in our dutch village and than going for a very nice walk with the children through rotterdam being very spontaneous and go in a serendipity mode like in a neorealist movie also going with them in the more crowded and shopping oriented den bosch not really able to find the same vibe later also making it to breda for a walk in the forest and then alone crossing the city from one end to another filming the rather middle to upper class spaces and after much filming walking around and around our village taking the children for a nice walk in the national park north of rheden traversing the whole wild landscape and the forest in the end also taking a walk with their mother in the natural reserve of kampina also going quite experimental with our walking and discovering of new places feeling rather connected with what life in the paleolithic might have been in this once remote corner of the earth"

"spending as much as possible outdoor taking my children for walks in the nature such as in the near of osterwijk but also to the city walking from the south station of amsterdam all the way to the central station and beside these walks with them at school walking at least to the arboretum and back every day as well walking them to school and back but then increasing my walks making it all the way down the river to everdingen and also going to utrecht a few times to give a lecture and listen to one walking as much as possible and in a weekend with also my baker friend and his kids hiking from the south of leiden all the way to the beach north of scheveningen not really enjoying all the many bikers and the crowd but then taking a very nice walk in the autumn sun on the hills east of rhenen filming the beautiful landscape and lastly taking a long walk with the kids as we once did from utrecht south station all the way to grift park filming the outskirts of the city"

"still taking long excursions at times alone for instance walking on a rainy day from the bilt north eat of utrecht all the way to houten in the deep south crossing all the highways and the infrastructures cutting up the landscape and with the weather getting better taking the children to bike in the forest across the river taking advantage of their fall vacation and filming the pristine and almost totally desolated autumn landscapes also going with them and there mother to amsterdam walking from amstel all the way to the east of the city and filming both the touristic and sterile part of town as well as the more hipster part later with the children resuming school resuming my walks and taking filming by the linge and the lek river prior to making it once more to a city with the family filming in the gray and too densely constructed leiden as well as later in the near of the austerlitz pyramid again with the children biking but this time hitting once more the military zone having to keep in the surrounding forest"
