beside listening to some good music on the radio while traveling in germany in the netherlands also traveling quite much going camping in the south of the country with the children and myrthe avoiding the crappy and too commercial dutch radio and mostly listening to our playlists and beside that recording the songs sang by myrthe and the children"

at last with my oldest son august making him listen to many songs while traveling together to the a small airport in germany from which we flew to sardinia to meet my old friend davide and with him also traveling around with a small rented car and singing songs and mostly singing songs from our youth together and later taking a long road trip with august and silvester from holland all the way through germany and switzeralnd listening to music in the car but also from the bakeries and supermarkets we visited as well as while at florian spending a few days in his house in the beautiful south of germany"

spending our summer in the mountains with old and drunk gianna singing her songs keeping playful with her also singing to the children and in the car playing the usual songs for them with little silvester demanding old italian rock songs and also annotating the songs heard bringing myrthe to take her coffee at the local vegetarian restaurant with also at times some bands playing with also the band of our neighbour upstairs improvising a concert in our little contrada singing many oldies"

still in the mountains this time alone with my children listening to old italian songs in the car and also singing along with my drunk old neighbour gianna and attending a small music workshop for children at the vegetarian restaurant before venturing for our journey all the way back to holland traveling through austria and germany at times listening to the local radios in the end spending some nice days with my family and my old friend davide coming to visit us reviving at times some songs together like while rowing on a canoe"

with both children attending school getting to hear at home many songs they learn there such as versions of famous english songs and in this respect making them listen to the original songs but also hearing from them more traditional dutch songs and when meeting their little friends olivia and filippa singing to them several of the songs i know from their father's country sweden"

taking a holiday in the south of the country where we went to look after the dog of myrthe's oldest brother listening to music while driving but also once there playing songs in the electric piano also later on with the children going to school hearing all the songs they learn there both from their classmates and for all the many winter and religious festivities of the various saints with however the children modifying these songs and singing funny versions of them but trying nonetheless to keep them learning more interesting song getting them to like an old jewish one"

with the coming of the winter holidays attending the many small festivities with the children and also attending their christmas carols at their school and stumbling upon several choirs around the netherlands but also playing music in our van on our way to the many excursions before driving all the way to italy and spending the holidays there with the children still singing dutch christmas songs but also getting hear italian ones"

"listening to songs especially while driving with the children taking little excursions together but then also traveling to the alps for the winter holiday even getting to sing karaoke there at our friends chris and alessia and generally absorbing the chirstmas atmosphere particularly making it to my native village contaminated by commerce and mass tourism later listening to songs still in the car driving back to holland"

"still spending the days off with the children taking them for hikes in the nature and listening to our playlist while driving later however beginning to work for a baker friend and losing that day off with the children compensating it with just hikes during the weekends and the music we listen together in our van especially with august coming to visit doing daily activities with him and the children also later having my old brazilian friend mario over for a visit and remembering together the music we listened to when we were students in the united states later going a bit in a routine with work and the picking of the children at school with a very annoying song getting popular hearing the older students keeping on mumbling it but also my kids learning very trashy songs from their classmates and teachers but also learning some good old songs joining for an evening the local male choir"

"at times hearing the songs played in restaurants particularly after a big hike we took in the dunes by the sea stopping later to eat sushi with many cheesy songs being played and also tracking myrthe's many songs she sang while with the children and at times also recognizing some of the songs played by sam at the bakery while working for him sorting bread later also making to the mountains for the spring holiday not really listening to music letting the children sleep but while in the mountains singing so as to scare the boars and also landing my melodica to the children ad playing old songs for them also listening to songs while in venice taking the family of myrthe's older brother for a visit and also while in vicenza especially at my old friend's francesco having dinner at their place with their interactive radio recognizing their voice and playing the music they wanted"

"still in the mountains hearing many oldies while at our friend chris during a small reunion and then on our way back to the netherlands listening to songs especially on the austrian radio later also traveling to wupertal for myrthe's fortieth birthday listening to both our playlist but also more songs played in the city and back in holland keeping track of the usual songs sang by the children but also by our italian friend daniela to her daughter and even at work hearing my baker friend playing some covers of old songs while i kept on sorting his bread also getting one of our neighbours sharing with me his archive of old songs on a hard-drive which soon however broke down"

"traveling to italy not really listening to much music trying to keep the children asleep but there listening to our playlist in all our trips up and down the mountains for grocery also annotating the music played in the sea resort of rosolina where we spent a few days at a campsite and then getting my oldest son august from the airport and discovering his passion for heavy metal listening with him many songs during our journeys by car later also keeping an application he installed for me on my phone to listen mostly children songs with livia and silvester on our way back to the netherlands"

"listening to songs back in the netherlands taking our usual excursions in the weekend with especially silvester demanding us to put songs on while driving and also putting more children songs in our playlist and beside this only at times hearing songs while at the supermarket or even at works hearing the songs played by other people in the building and at times also hearing the ducth songs learned by the children at school with livia being really talented in singing them on a few occasions"
